Reduce, reuse, recycle is the new golden rule. This blend of pre- and post-consumer recycled cotton and recycled pet bottles polyester is a brilliant example. 1x refers to single-ply yarn. The fabric is super soft, pleasantly mid-weight (and lighter than the 2x version), with a satisfying hand, durability and low- maintenance (aka, no iron) bonus.

If you don't get a compliment within three wearings or if you find something wrong with your Toad&Co garment, we'll take it back and make it right.

I absolutely love this shirt! It fits great and is the perfect length to wear with tights or skinny jeans. The fabric is so soft and comfortable. I just purchased this shirt last week and my daughter talked me out of it, so I'll be purchasing another one or two of these for myself!
This shirt is a gem! It's lightweight and cozy, and POCKETS!
By: Toad & CoThose pockets are a game changer - the perfect home for loose cash or a re-charge snack!
SO warm, light, and flattering. An immediate favorite. Love the dual pockets on the front and the side pockets. 37"-32"/33"-39" and medium is perfect. I'm petite and this completely covers my rear but still manages to look flattering. Love the sophisticated color combination of the sherry color combo. Please offer more colors! How about navy and turquoise, neutral browns with blues, or pinks and neutral tans?

Great colour not a great fit
By: Erin Fleury
I ordered this item online, the colour is great however the sleeves are so tight. I ordered a large which is the size I usually fit in Toad and Co.'s shirts. Why the discrepancy in the sleeves Toad and Co.?
By: Toad & CoGood call-out: our product team has noted that the arms on the Cairn are a bit slimmer than our other tops. We are bringing the Cairn back in the Spring with slightly larger forearm specs!
SLEEVES MADE FOR A 6 YEAR OLD - TIGHT!!
sleeves too tight - who designs a shirt with too-tight sleeves, for whom, and why?
was there ever a man's shirt designed with sleeves too tight? I'd love to know who does this and what makes them tick. Get a grip Toad and hire real designers, with real bodies, who know some real women.
By: Toad & CoHi Milly- Thanks for your feedback on the sleeves. We're looking into the fit of this shirt for future seasons. As a predominately female employed-and-lead company, we come from all walks of life, body types, and interests. We are always taking into account how our clothes are fitting our lives and, more importantly, our customers'.
I was worried that the slightly larger forearms this year would be a problem (I am small boned) but this is still a wonderful shirt. I now have three! 5’4” muscular 145# 37-32-39 and the medium is perfect.
I love this shirt!!
I bought 2 of these last year and I bought 4 more this year. I love, love, love this shirt. The length is perfect to cover your backside and wear with leggings and looks great with jeans too. Love the fit, relaxed, but not boxy....and the pockets are EVERYTHING! Definitely my go to shirt for fall and winter.
Was expecting a much better quality of t shirt as the reviews were so good and it’s quite pricey for a plain looking t shirt. I am 129 pounds and ordered the medium size and it’s a loose for on me which I like.
Too tight in sleeves
As a couple other reviewers have mentioned, the sleeves are too tight. I thought this issue had been addressed, but obviously no changes have been made to the fit of this shirt. I could barely fit my arms into the size medium. I workout so I don’t have small arms, but they’re not huge either. This shirt made me feel like I was the Hulk and I would bust out of it if I flexed a muscle. For this being an expensive shirt, i’m Not impressed.
Love this shirt: long, lean lines
I have 1 from last year (2017) and 2 from this season’s line (2018). I have no complaints about the sleeves from either year. Please don’t change the sleeves too much; I think part of what makes the shirt so flattering are the long, lean lines—including the leaner arms.
My only suggestion for improvement would be the type of flannel: the flannels do seem to pill a bit, even tho I wash in the gentle cycle and do not put them in the dryer. This year’s fabrics are pilling less than last year’s, tho, so that is good. (I have a couple of women’s flannels from Mountain Hardware that do not pull at all, but I like Toad’s women’s styling better!)
By: Toad & CoThank you for your feedback Jennifer! We will pass on the pilling comment to our product & development team.
i was just about to pay for 6 shirts i like on your site - but i do not want shirts with tight sleeves or flannel that pills. There is nothing worse than pilling cheap flannel. Your response to a reviewer above states that you will fix the sleeve problem in the spring - is it fixed? And what about the flannel? Have you sourced a better quality and test washed it many times? Looking forward to getting the improved product! Love the long length, styling and colors.

I love this shirt! The color and fit is amazing and the length is perfect. Like other reviewers commented, the arms are a bit tight in the biceps, but it's not all that noticable for me. I'm 145lbs, 5'9" and the small fits great.
I LOVE this shirt! The length is fun; goes with jeans, tights, or sweats. The fabric is soft and washes well; cool water it never fades.
However, just as others have mentioned ... sleeves are really snug. I often like to roll up the cuffs while doing dishes, etc. (working on other projects) and it's so tight that rolling up even one flip, it never stays and you can't push the sleeve up your arm, it's too tight, won't stay.
Should T&C change that part of the pattern, they have a sure-fire winner! Make many colors/patterns and gals will buy them up!
As a side note, at full pop ($80) it's a stretch. At the sale price of $50ish... I'd buy most colors! Keep that in mind T&C and thanks for reading customer feedback :) Hope to see this stay in your inventory, improved of course!
Bought earlier year version of these and was coveting the hot sauce version for months. Finally bought it and I am so disappointed. After 3 times wearing it (not washed yet), the shirt is pilling badly. I adore the pattern and fit so much and sadly now it is sold out so I can’t even exchange for another. I can wear it this way but for the cost, one expects better quality. My other Cairn shirts from the year before don’t appear to have this problem.
