    Description

Remember the girl in college who could dance all night and ace her finals the next morning? Maybe she was you. Either way, here’s the skirt equivalent. The Chaka Skirt’s wide, gathered waistband is flattering, even when you’re burning the candle at both ends. A–line silhouette keeps things from getting too serious. Bottom hem falls a few inches above the knee, calling for flats in the day and boots when the sun goes down. Made from Samba, our eco–responsible blend of Tencel® and organic cotton.

Lovely shirt, but a little big

I love this skirt so much, bought two colours and both are stunning. Would recommend to everyone. I am on the petite side of things so they are a little big for me, especially after a few wears. I really wish Toad&co made a xxs size as I would but everything then :-)

      Wardrobe staple

Love the Chaka! I have two, and wear them constantly. Best for casual, but can be dressed up a bit. Summer with sandals, winter with leggings and boots. Samba fabric is my favorite - thin, but opaque and durable. Style is great, nice A-line. Length is very very frumpy - hits right at the top of the knees - wish it came in a shorter more modern length, but maybe my fault for having short legs. Wish there were some darker neutrals, since i don't usually wear light 'n brights". Quality is great - I mistreat them

      My go-to summer skirt

I've had three of these in different colors for a couple years and I pretty much live in them nonstop for the summers. Just dressy enough for work but comfy for casual wear too. They are really great for travel since they squish up small and don't wrinkle. Just popped back into this website today to pick up two more in the new patterns.

      Comfortable and stylish

I wore this skirt for the first time today and got a compliment, was asked where I got the skirt. I washed before wearing, came out of the dryer ready to wear. I bought the falcon brown tapestry, a good neutral that can be worn with a variety of solid color tops. I'm 61, curvy, so I appreciate the not too short length and wide waist band. I also bought the Chachacha skirt in cocoa poppy, another beautiful print, but returned the skirt because it was too flared for my body type.

Maybe it's just me...not crazy about this skirt

I have been happily wearing Toad&Co clothes for at least five years. Love their dresses. This summer, I went for skirts. Based on the five star reviews, I decided to give the chaka skirt a whirl - I purchased three different colors. The fabric quality and color is first rate. The cut is flattering. What I strongly dislike is the waistband. It bunches up under my shirt, I'm constantly repositioning it. I would not order more.

      Flared and forgiving

What a lifesaver to find this skirt when my over-40, genetically metabolically compromised weight is as variable as the weather. I love the simplicity of the A line, and the fabric is less clingy than other fusion/athleisure skirts I've purchased so I can wear it with or without tights, at work or trapsing around NYC without a fear of accidental exposure due to static cling incidents. It does wrinkle a bit, and I'm not sure how the fabric will fare long term in the wash, but I'm so thrilled with the classic look and comfort that I've immediately bought this on sale in other colors.

      Beautiful Simplicity

I carry most of my weight in my midsection and have never found a skirt that would sit at my waist without making me look bigger than I am. This skirt is extremely flattering sitting right at my waist, it stays up without digging in. The fabric is a little see-through in direct sunlight, but nothing too outrageous for summer clothes. I feel super confident in how I look in this skirt, will definitely buy again.

      LOVE this skirt

This is my go to skirt.. i can dress it up a bit for office wear, or down a bit for out on the town or around the home.. It is so soft and flows well. doesnt matter whether i am walking, sitting or standing it flatters the movement or lack of.. I can wash and hang on line or throw in drier for wash and wear results.. I am a size 6 and the medium fits well.. i tend to no tuck in my tops and will have to say this skirt allows my tops to hang softly over the top with no bunching or moving about.. Just perfect and now to pick out another color!! Great design,

      Best Skirt Ever!

Amazing product, I have two patterns and have loved both since the minute I opened the package. It's great to wear to work during the summer to keep cool but also stay modest while at the office. I would imagine this would look cute with leggings and boots in the wintertime also. I have not traveled with it so can't say if it stays wrinkle free. So far in doing my laundry it seems to dry quickly.

      Almost perfect

First, I bought this skirt in 4 colors and plan on keeping all of them.

The fabric is fantastic and the waist band is great b/c it's wide and therefore flattering. I just wish the length was 1 inch longer. I think this skirt may be the evolved version of the chachacha skirt which used to hit right at or below the knee. This wants to naturally hit right above the knee. If I pull the skirt down to 2 fingers below my belly button then it's perfect. I'm scared to put it in the dryer b/c I don't want it to shrink in length any more.

Otherwise, I really love the print and the fabric. I bought size small. I'm 5'2', curvy-strong 135lbs, short torso, short leg body type.

If you could please add even a half an inch to this skirt, it would make a huge difference and be a perfect 5 star (for me).

      Great Skirt

been a fan of these clothes since the days of horny toad.

Bought this in mahogany to expand my wardrobe, already had an older version of a patterned brown i got at r.e.i.

true to size. got my usual medium and it fits just like you'd expect a medium to fit it.

the material quality is suburb; lightweight cotton blend that washes easily/holds its shape. I am still amazed that my older horny toad pieces look brand new.

actually got the skirt to wear on an upcoming cruise, but have winterized it with the addition of leggings and socks, because who doesn't love new clothes!!!

      my drawbacks:

wish the little inside pocket had a sealing flap or button - i added a snap for security.

would love to see more solid colors added to this line- many of your products have the makings of wardrobe staples and i'd love see you offer more variety in the solid colors (red, black, grey, blue)

      Wonderful Skirt

LOVE, LOVE this skirt! I have 2 of them from previous summers- they hold up well over the months :) I am getting ready to purchase my 3rd and 4th! They are absolutely comfortable, not clinging in all the wrong places. The sizes are true to size! I'm 51, wear a size 6, the medium was a perfect fit!!!! And I love that Toad&Co has offered more colors!

      Great skirt

I was looking for a casual knit skirt, and I bought one of these to try them out. Liked it so much I just bought two more on sale, right before the colors changed. It’s become my everyday uniform, paired with leggings and a sweater. Lightweight, durable fabric, very comfortable waistband that doesn’t shift, and flattering A line cut. I’m 5’ 8” and normally wear a 12, the large fits perfectly. Length on me is right above the knee. I’d love to see these in more dark colors, especially interesting print like the blue and black dotted one I have that’s no longer available.
