Cute dress but not for me
This dress is really cute but not quite right for my body type. I was so excited about it and really wanted to keep it thinking it would be perfect for my pear shaped, athletic body. However, it somehow belled out just a little too much - making me feel like it was meant for a little girl rather than a working mom of two elementary kids. I tried it with different color tights, thinking the black just needed to be broken up - but I could not make it work. I needed a little less cute and more maturity in the dress.
I am five foot 4 inches and 128, I ordered the small - an xs may have worked better but decided to just move on.
Great easy care, youthful dress
Based on the previous review, I made it a point to buy this dress. The material and the cut are a more youthful style, which is what I was looking for. I like vibrant colors and the redwood was more earth toned than I wanted. It's also less fitted than the other dresses and makes me look normal weight for my very petite frame. I prefer the black and am trying to decide whether to keep the redwood.
