      Oh so soft and cuddly

This is a wonderfully soft sweater vest with no itching whatsoever. The length makes it safe to wear leggings without showing off more than you wanted. I initially ordered the small in the salt color which is taupe with pinkish undertones.
I found the small to be a little large under the armpits (115#, 5'5", 34c) so I'm exchanging it for the XS. It is NOT cut perfectly straight from armpits to hem but has a slightly tapered waist allowing me to minimally show off my hourglass figure.
The only wish-it-were-different for me would be to have a slightly lower neckline to allow collared shirts worn underneath to lay a little nicer.
Can't wait for the replacement to arrive! This will be a staple of my fall and winter wardrobe.

Hi Janet, thanks for the feedback! We love the idea of pairing the MaKenna with a collared shirt-- right now it works great with a slimmer fitting button-down, but we will share your suggestion to lower the neck-line for future designs.

      Minimalist Wardrobe Staple

This is so beautifully designed. It is simple, elegant and refined. It reminds me of a high end minimalist European designer piece. I am confident that I will wear this vest for years as a wardrobe staple. It goes with everything in my wardrobe. The fabric is a deliciously soft, chunky rib knit. Bonus points for it being non-mulesed merino wool. It's really like a favorite sweater, but without sleeves, which actually makes getting a coat or parka on and off so much easier. I bought my usual size and it fits extremely well, skimming the body in a flattering way. The teal color, which I bought, is gorgeous. I would love to see this also offered in a deep v-neck version next year, in darker colors, especially black, dark gray and burgundy. Don't get me wrong; keep a high necked version, but please offer a second style for versatility. I would purchase one or two of the v-neck, if you did, and I'm sure I'm not alone.

I love this. I wear it with leggings or skinny jeans to work. Works great with a collared shirt or with a long sleeve underneath. Very comfortable and high quality. It is a fave. I ordered the oatmeal and it's a versatile color that pairs well with many colors. I do have a slight pear shape, with small shoulders, and it slightly accentuates the width of my hips (which is fine, two humans came out of there!).. but that's just how it lays on me. Still looks very nice and I would highly recommend this!
