Susurro SS -WOW!
Wow! I'm a big fan of this style shirt. I have several colors from another company (close working relationship with Toad and Co) which I love and am hanging up for springtime tonight. But, boy oh boy, T&C nailed it with this one. They styled the front with double the material, but without added bulk, it falls beautifully. If you like the style you'll prob love this. I haven't washed it yet nor have I worn it out of the house, yet- but I did just order all the other colors with exception to pistachio. More colors would be great. For me the quality of the fabric seals the deal-
Very nice quality and fit! Will be great for traveling.
So comfortable and flattering. Makes me look thinner than I am. Love the cap sleeves that make this more cross-culturally appropriate and age-appropriate (just turned 40!). I am 5'5 140 pounds
Perfect Travel Top!
Loved this top....drapes well and covers problem areas nicely! Versatile with skirts and pants/jeans...very travel friendly. Loved the thickness and feel of the fabric. I will be buying more colors than basic black!
The one top that worked for me this year!! I tried last year's version. but didn't like how it hung. This year they doubled the front fabric and that makes all the difference! I have tried on lots of this style shirt but this is the first one I've bought. They tweaked it just right this year.
Don't wash well
After a few washes this T looked like it had been through 50 washes! The front has two layers of fabric and after washing it became pilly between those two layers giving the appearance of little bumps all over. It looked faded and worn after just a few washes. I returned all three shirts.
I loved the drape of this shirt and bought 5 or 6 for work but quickly found that the shirts stain (grease stains) quite easily and are hard to get out. Also after a couple months of wear the top layer can pill. I am sorry to have this happen as I really enjoyed the appearance of the shirts.
By: Toad & CoDate: 7/28/2017Hi there, thanks for the review! Tencel is a natural fiber, so it does absorb grease similar to the way cotton or any other fibrous material would. We have reached out to you directly and are happy to provide some strain-removing techniques!

This was a lovely shirt when I first bought it (I have the coral and black shirt) and I got lots of compliments. After a few washes the colors have faded and the material has sagged and is shapeless. The shirts are no longer wearable. Waste of money (I paid full price 4 months ago). This was my first time shopping Toad & Co and I'm not sure I'll buy again.
By: Toad & CoHm, sounds like defective material. We are reaching out to you directly to make things right!
This shirt fits beautifully (medium), I love the color (blue), my favorite thing about the neckline is that it never gapes open too much when I am moving around or bending over. I often wear it with black pants and layer it with a white long sleeve sweater shrug and it can go from casual lunch to formal evening very nicely. Quite comfortable. Yay!

I have 4 of these shirts - 2 white, 1 black and 1 purple/blue ish. The two whites have pilled, but the black and purple havent. I dunno what’s different about the whites. One white is so bad that I am going to cut the bottom - hopefully gets the pills out and try sew it to a skirt.
I would also really like if the shirts were a little bit longer (maybe 3 inches or so) as I have a longer torso and feel like I need to layer with a shirt underneath.
They do look nice thought when worn and can definitely be worn dressed up or down.
Heavenly Fabric, Elegant drape
I love these so much that I have 3 in each style. I haven’t found a shirt like this for years. I have a very long torso and this is perfect. Now I’m off to look for more high quality tencel clothing; this fabric really rocks!
Looks great, but defective design
I have had 3 of these shirts over the years, most recently a white and black. I really like the fit and drape. But washing according to the instructions (lay flay to dry) leads to big lint balls inside the shirt, between the two front layers. It became so bad, that recently I resorted to cutting holes in the back layer in order to try and fish out the large clumps of little white balls (they look terrible from the front-- bumps that stick out). Maybe this is a problem just with the white fabric, but it's made this shirt un-wearable in ~1.5 years of not very regular use. I usually love Toad & Co. but this one is an expensive miss.
