Eco Certifications

OUR CERTIFICATIONS

The most comprehensive sustainability assessment tool possible. This index is shared with fellow industry and supply chain members to propel global innovation and improvement.

From farmers to brands to consumers, this internationally operating organization aims to share information about the social and environmental benefits of environmentally conscious textiles.

SUSTAINABLE FIBERS

OEKO-TEX Standard 100®

A worldwide, independent certification and testing system that assures no harmful chemicals or toxins were used from fiber-to-finished garment. They test for over 100 nasty chemicals, including pesticides, carcinogenic colorants, and heavy materials.

Global Recycled Standard (GRS)

This process verifies the recycled content of clothing and the practices that went into making them. The Global Recycling Standard defines requirements to ensure accurate content claims and good working conditions, and that harmful environmental and chemical impacts are minimized.

bluesign®

Fabric production can be super resource intensive. The bluesign® system monitors efficient use of energy, water, chemistry, and emissions during the dyeing and finishing process (generally not resource-friendly). This system also takes worker safety into account!

Responsible Wool Standard (RWS)

A certification that aims to improve the welfare of sheep and the land they graze on. RWS requires all sites, from wool farmers to sellers, to be certified – and farmers and ranchers must meet specific animal welfare, land management, and social requirements. An RWS certification ensures the protection of land, animals, native species, and healthy and safety of workers.
