Love the Chaka! I have two, and wear them constantly. Best for casual, but can be dressed up a bit. Summer with sandals, winter with leggings and boots. Samba fabric is my favorite - thin, but opaque and durable. Style is great, nice A-line. Length is very very frumpy - hits right at the top of the knees - wish it came in a shorter more modern length, but maybe my fault for having short legs. Wish there were some darker neutrals, since i don't usually wear "light 'n brights". Quality is great - I mistreat them, wear them out in the woods and to the hardware store, machine wash and tumble dry, and they've held up great. This skirt runs huge. For sizing reference, I'm about 5'4", 112 pounds, 26.5" waist, athletic build. Normally I wear S in most brands (M at stores for younger women). But for the Chaka, the XS fits me perfectly - I tried on the S and it was falling off.

I would recommend this to a friend!
Thanks for your review. If you’re looking for a shorter version of the Chaka Skirt, check out the Lobelia Skirt or the Sereena Samba Skort in our Spring line (links below). They are both made of the same Samba fabric and have slight A-line shapes like the Chaka.
We will have a few darker neutrals for the Chaka coming out in our Fall 2016 line. We will also have another Samba skirt coming out then called the Sambossa Skirt. This skirt might check all your boxes! Check back in August for those new colors and styles!
