I bought the striped Balsam wide leg, sz 18, and so glad I didn’t hesitate! It was my first time shopping at Toad and took a chance that they’d fit. So comfortable, gives some effortless sophistication while also being able to be casual or dressed up some. I get compliments most times I wear them and — most importantly— *I* always feel great in them. I’m 5’ 7” and the length is perfect for me with a low heeled boot (1” ish). I’ve worn them likely 10+ times in the past 3 months and fabric between thighs is holding up really well, unlike some other brands I’ve tried.

I want to try them in other colors now, but I also think that there is just something super special about the striped print. Toad — I hope you do more classic prints like this!!

I'm happy with these pants. They're super flattering, well constructed, warm enough for the winter and the color (fir) goes with all my tops. The only thing that I might change is the high waistline. It looks great but can be constricting if I sit for too long (which maybe I shouldn't be doing anyway).
