1% For the Planet
is a network of organizations committed to giving 1% of their sales back to the environment. We get our hands dirty quarterly volunteering with 1% for the Planet nonprofit organizations restoring trails, cleaning up our coastline and planting trees. We’re an active member in the 1% for the Planet community locally and regularly organize film festivals, environmental discussion panels and public outreach events to raise funds and awareness for our nonprofit partners.
provides high-quality services and supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In 1997 we partnered with Search, Inc. to cofound the Planet Access Company, a state-of-the-art warehouse that trains and employs adults with disabilities. We also cofounded the Search for Adventure Program, a unique travel program to facilitate vacations for adults with disabilities.
The Conservation Alliance
partners with grassroots environmental organizations to protect wild places. We’ve been an active member for over a decade and are represented by Kate Larramendy on the Board of Directors. Each year we participate in Conservation Alliance’s Backyard Collective, a day of local environmental activism – and we are educated and vote on grant nominations every year to determine which conservation projects will receive funding.
The Venture Out Project
is working to bring the LGBTQ+ community together to experience the beauty and fun of the wilderness. We have the shared mission to increase Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) in the outdoors. All proceeds from our Pride T-Shirt are donated to The Venture Out Project.
The Adventure Travel Conservation Fund
(ATCF) directly funds local projects engaged in the conservation of unique natural and cultural resources of adventure travel destinations. We support the ATCF in preserving adventure travel experiences for future generations through sustainable and eco-tourism. We’re an active member of the ATCF and our CEO, Gordon Seabury, sits on the board of directors.
