We have a motto, “Dirty is the new clean. Wear it out or pass it on.” Studies suggest that 45% of the water that goes into a garment happens post-purchase, so we recommend that you wear your clothing multiple times before washing to save on both natural resources and prolong its life. All of our clothes are washable and never require dry cleaning. Here’s what you need to know to get the most out of your Toad&Co clothing:
Follow care instructions sewn in each garment. We recommend using the lowest settings for both washing and drying, or line drying if that’s an option. Remove items from the dryer sooner than later to minimize wrinkling.
Wash all sweaters by hand and let dry on a flat surface.
We sewed some extra buttons into your Toad&Co garments in case you pop a button doing something epic. Grab a needle and thread and get to mending. You’ll score some sustainability karma points! Here’s a sewing refresher, just in case.
