Happy 4/20! Toads Got The Munchies

We love 4/20 for a lot of reasons (like a chance to celebrate our favorite fiber hemp, and because it falls in Earth Week, of course!). But in the true spirit of the holiday, the Toads love a good munchie moment too (you've seen how excited we get about grilled cheese sandwiches). Here are a few of our other favorites:

Steve - White rice with BBQ sauce. I think it stems from elementary school when it was chicken nugget day in the cafeteria and they always served them with white rice. Try it though, you won't regret it...

Guin  - Totchos! Nachos but with tots... Toast tots in your air fryer or oven, then top them with your fave nacho toppings and pop back into the oven/air fryer to melt. I recommend jalapeños, sour cream, cilantro, and of course some hot sauce and salsa. And avo, go wild!

Sarah - I'm obsessed with ricotta cheese! So lately I mix halved cherry tomatoes in a little olive oil, basil, and a squeeze of lemon, then toss it with salt, pepper, and any other spices (depending on your flavor profile). Then, put that mixture on top of a healthy dose of ricotta. It is SOOOO good!

SJ - My Peanut Butter Oreo treat is soo easy, and you can keep it simple or get a little fancy with it if you're feelin' it. Open up an Oreo, spread a small scoop of peanut butter, and close it back up. If you're feeling adventurous, melt some dark chocolate in a double broiler and dunk your peanut butter Oreos in. Freeze for 10 mins and enjoy!

Christina - I'm savory/salty/carb-y to the core, so if it's not chips and dip or cheese and crackers, I'm making cheese toast. Top a piece of sourdough with a few slices of cheese, throw it under the broiler. When it's juuust about as melted as you want it, throw a couple thin slices of tomato on top. Let it get a little bubbly, then remove, top with a little avocado, salt, pepper, and if you're feeling seasoning-happy (always), lemon pepper and Everything But the Bagel seasoning. Red pepper flakes if you want a little kick.

Summer - Ben & Jerry's 'Everything But The...' flavor. Always worth the dairy.
