I have an older pair of Earthworks pants from a year or two ago and I thought I was getting the same style. However, these fit very loose in the crotch, thighs, and rest of the legs. I didn't notice it so much when I first tried them on out of the package, but after I removed the tags, washed them, and put them on to wear for the day--it was like I was weaing 80's parachute pants. I wish I could return them. I love the fabric and color, but hate the fit.

I have several Earthworks style Toad Pants. I love the waistband because it is fitted but also slightly stretchy. The material holds up wash after wash. I am slim hipped and thin legs and these pants are slim cut without being those clinging legging type pants I do not like. So it hits all the marks. I am 5'8" and 130# and get a size 8. If I want them more fitted I get the 6 but 8 allows me more freedom.

These are the best pants. They are soft yet sturdy, with just enough stretch. They look great and fit comfortably. I think the front pockets used to be bigger? They aren't super functional, but it doesn't matter because I love these pants. The raisin color is awesome.
