  • Toad&Co - Doing Good

Live Well. Do Good.

Good products are nothing without good intentions. Just as it is our responsibility to make great product, it’s also our responsibility to support our communities, take care of the planet, and empower people to live their fullest lives. From day one, we’ve woven our intentions into the very fabric of our company. Here are a few of our like-minded partners who help us to achieve our social and environmental goals. For 20 years these long-term partnerships have shaped Toad&Co for the better, helping us to live well and do good every day.

Designed For Good

Everyone deserves the opportunity to do what they love. That’s why a portion of every Toad&Co garment purchased directly contributes to creating opportunities for adults with disabilities. From job training to outdoor adventures, your purchase goes a long way to support our mission. We offer top-notch career opportunities in our warehouse and take folks on life-changing trips to the great outdoors. So thanks for your support. We couldn’t do it without you.

More Than a Warehouse

In 1997 we partnered with Search, Inc. to co-found the Planet Access Company, a full-functioning warehouse that trains and employs adults with disabilities. Every year, PAC employs up to 70 individuals with disabilities in paid, train-to-work opportunities. 100% of Toad&Co’s inventory is picked, packed, and shipped by the PAC warehouse crew with unmatched reliability and enthusiasm.

Designed For Good Diaries

Every Toad&Co purchase contributes to creating opportunities for adults with disabilities. Meet the folks who have been a part of our Designed for Good initiative. From employees who process your orders to first-time campers and hikers, hear inspirational stories from people who will stop at nothing to live life to the fullest. Read their stories here.

Environmental Citizenship

“Nature is not a place to visit. It is home.” Gary Snyder put it best. We look to the outdoors for inspiration to live and work and play every day, and thus recognize our responsibility to help protect the lands and waterways that we rely on. We are active members in national organizations like The Conservation Alliance and Leave No Trace, and support local environmental protection organizations wherever you find the Toad. Now, perhaps more than ever, we need to stand up for the environment and make commitments to ensure the prosperity of the wilderness for generations to come. See what we’re doing on the sustainability front.
