I got these for my boyfriend and he loves them. The fabric is soft and durable. They look great too :D the only thing that would make them better is a belt loop.

I literally wore these every day! They were super comfy for the plane and any long care rides, they were great hiking in the cool shade and light enough for the warm sun (not to mention dried really quick when I was sweating my ass off carrying my 4.5 year old up a mountain), they kept the mosquitoes off me, and they still looked good at the end of each day for grabbing a beer when we got off the trail/water.

My husband loves these pants, he thinks they are super comfy and wants them in more colors. The only thing he doesn't like is the bungee tab at the bottom of the pants. When he is sitting or playing on the floor with our kids they can dig in unexpectedly/uncomfortably. So, please consider a similar style without this feature!

My husband loves these pants. His only complaint is the bungee on the legs bugs him sometimes when sitting on the floor. The color is great and looks nice with tees, polos, and button ups
