TENCEL™ Lyocell is a plant-based fiber with some out of this world capabilities: it’s moisture-wicking, durable, low-maintenance, and naturally inhibits the growth of bacteria (aka: anti-stank). And it’s soft. Like, REALLY soft. TENCEL™ Lyocell's performance qualities are similar to polyester, but with the breathability of cotton and the drape and hand feel of silk. TENCEL™ Lyocell is made from Forest Stewardship Council Certified sustainable trees. (Fun fact: these trees require fewer pesticides and far less acreage and water to grow than cotton!). Tree pulp is processed with nontoxic solvents in a closed-loop system wherein 99% of the solvents are recovered and recycled.
